Communication training

8 February 2018

27 February 2018

How do you communicate your science? These sessions, led by award-winning science broadcaster Richard Hollingham, will help you get your message across in the media and through social media.

With plenty of active participation, exercises and the opportunity to produce podcasts, those taking part will come to understand what journalists want for different media as well as how to give a good interview, provide quotes and produce compelling blog copy.

The style will be informal and fun, with opportunity for discussion, to encourage confident and effective communication in the future.

There are 30 spaces available on each day and the courses are being delivered by Boffin Media. The courses will take place 10:00-16:00 and further details will be sent to delegates nearer to the date.
