Fund for International Collaboration
A new £110 million Fund for International Collaboration (FIC) was announced by the UK government as part of its Industrial Strategy white paper in 2017, as a means to secure the UK's position as a global leader in international collaborative science. FIC was developed as a compliment to the Official Development Assistance (ODA) funding to support research with developing nations.
Our vision for a knowledge-led economy is underpinned by world-leading research, world-class facilities and international collaborations that push scientific frontiers and attract the brightest talents.
