Announcement of Opportunity: UK IODP Knowledge Exchange Coordinator
Closing date: 16:00 on 29 August 2019
Proposals are invited for a Knowledge Exchange Coordinator for the UK International Ocean Discovery Program (UK IODP). The Knowledge Exchange Coordinator will be tasked with establishing, maintaining and energising links with the wider environmental science and industrial communities, and increasing national awareness of UK-IODP activities and opportunities.
Up to £330,000 (cost to NERC) is available for this role for a duration of 54 months, with a review after 30 months. Proposals will be assessed by an assessment panel, who will shortlist proposals and invite selected candidates to interview. Interviews will take place in mid-September. The successful applicant will be required to start in early October 2019.
This call is open to all eligible UK researchers. If the applicant is a postdoctoral research associate (PDRA), and therefore ineligible to apply for a grant, proposals must be submitted on their behalf by a principal investigator (PI) from an eligible UK institution.
Proposals must be submitted via the Research Councils' Joint Electronic Submission system (Je-S) by 16:00 BST on 29 August 2019.
Please see the full Announcement of Opportunity document below for further details of the call.
