Understanding and countering plant bacterial disease - Opportunity to attend a town meeting
15 May 2019
The Biotechnology & Biological Sciences Research Council, NERC, Defra and the Scottish Government will soon be launching a call for research to address threats to UK plant health and biosecurity from bacterial diseases.
The call is part of a programme supported under the UK Research & Innovation Strategic Priorities Fund, with up to £13 million available.
The funders intend to hold a town meeting for potential applicants to learn about the background to the programme and understand what the funders hope to support through the call. The meeting will also allow stakeholders to explain their research and evidence needs to potential applicants.
The town meeting will be on 21 June 2019 in London.
