Workshop to identify NERC marine equipment requirements
1 December 2014
The Marine Facilities Advisory Board (MFAB) is holding a workshop on Thursday 15 January 2015 in London to engage the wider scientific community in the developing plans for NERC's marine equipment requirements over the next five to ten years.
The remit of MFAB is to develop a medium to long-term holistic strategy for future equipment requirements in marine science. This workshop will provide an opportunity for the community to review the recently conducted survey of user needs, which considered a wide range of topics including AUVs, ROVs, seismic equipment, moorings, ship-borne equipment, etc. The workshop will run concurrently with the town meeting for the new polar research vessel.
